Saudi Makes Future Opens Investment and Global Partnership Opportunities for AI Startups

Riyadh – 06 August 2026

Saudi Makes Future has opened participation to Saudi and international companies operating in artificial intelligence and advanced technology sectors, as preparations continue for the exhibition’s inaugural edition at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from December 14 to 16, 2026.

The exhibition aims to attract companies offering practical AI applications and smart solutions that can be deployed across economic and service sectors. Participating companies will have the opportunity to showcase their innovations and connect with businesses and organizations seeking solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support better decision-making.

Saudi Makes Future – SMF builds on its international partnership with Italy’s We Make Future – WMF, giving participating companies the opportunity to connect with European businesses active in artificial intelligence, innovation, and advanced technologies, and to explore potential areas of cooperation, market expansion, and knowledge exchange.

The exhibition’s management said the partnership with WMF supports SMF’s objective of building a business and technology bridge between the Saudi market and European markets. It also seeks to help Saudi companies access international partners, while enabling European companies to better understand the needs of Saudi sectors and the business opportunities available in the Kingdom, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and its focus on attracting high-value and innovation-driven investment.

The exhibition will highlight AI applications across 14 key sectors: space, smart manufacturing, health and life sciences, digital business and media, smart cities, cybersecurity, education, financial services, clean energy, agritech, government technology, retail and e-commerce, robotics, and Arabic large language models and core AI technologies.

The management added that the current phase focuses on attracting companies with existing products, advanced prototypes, or proven use cases, rather than purely conceptual projects. This approach will allow potential clients and sector stakeholders to evaluate solutions and explore opportunities for implementation, development, or partnership.

Participation will enable companies to present their solutions to the business and technology community, gain visibility through the exhibition’s specialized media content, and open communication channels with local and international companies operating in the same or complementary fields.

The exhibition will also feature an international AI startup competition, giving emerging companies and promising ventures the opportunity to present their solutions before a specialized judging panel and compete across tracks aligned with the exhibition’s 14 sectors.

The competition aims to identify scalable applications, highlight companies offering practical solutions to economic and service-sector challenges, and provide shortlisted projects with the opportunity to showcase their innovations during the Riyadh edition.

Saudi Makes Future’s participation in WMF in Bologna, Italy, in June 2026 formed part of the exhibition’s global roadshow to promote investment opportunities in the Saudi market and attract international companies and investors to the Kingdom’s AI and advanced technology sectors.

The participation also helped present the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to business and technology communities in Europe and worldwide, positioning Saudi Arabia as a growing market for innovation and high-value investment, while building stronger links between Saudi companies and their international counterparts and creating long-term national value.

Saudi Makes Future has invited companies interested in participating to submit a company profile, details of their solutions, the sectors they serve, and examples of previously implemented projects or use cases.
