Cairo, Egypt: SAL Logistics Services, the Kingdom’s national leader in cargo handling, integrated logistics solutions, and supply chain management, announced the signing of a training solutions agreement with EgyptAir Training Academy during a signing ceremony attended by Mr. Walid Suleiman, President of EgyptAir Training Academy, and Mr. Saleh Aldaini, Chief Executive Officer of Shared Services at SAL.

Under the agreement, the two parties will collaborate over an initial 12-month period to study and develop advanced, internationally accredited training programs aimed at enhancing workforce readiness in the air transport sector. The collaboration will also explore opportunities for technical exchange and operational expertise in areas such as simulator-based training, performance assessment, and the use of virtual reality technologies in specialized training programs.

The agreement further includes studying mechanisms for knowledge transfer and human capability development through joint training programs and the exchange of trainers and subject-matter experts in training, instructional design, and technical supervision. In addition, both parties will examine the development of an integrated training ecosystem aligned with international standards, including those of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). The two sides will also explore opportunities to create joint revenue streams by offering professional training programs to other aviation entities and airlines in regional and international markets.

This agreement reflects SAL’s commitment to expanding its strategic partnerships with leading regional and international aviation institutions, contributing to the advancement of air transport training, strengthening the enabling infrastructure for logistics services, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
